We work with the whole business to uncover value drivers—where others may see challenges, we see opportunity.
A business is not just a product on offer, but is an intricate picture of years of effort and operational details that enable success. Understanding this full scope of work fascinates me and is what brought me to Turn/River. We work with the whole business to uncover value drivers—where others may see challenges, we see opportunity.
While at Stanford University, I studied the intersection between business and cyber security. I wrote my honors thesis on the shifting landscape of global cyber threat and also ran an incubator for emerging startups, which is where my interest in scaling businesses began. I went on to learn the operations of a fast-growing software business at Darktrace, and also worked alongside a VC to build solutions to counteract the deep fakes problem. Through my work with T/R, I’ve been able to continue my passion for cybersecurity, as well as think creatively about how to position businesses for hyper growth.
All these experiences have given me a deep appreciation of mission-critical software—a core element of the companies that I evaluate for future investment opportunities at T/R. My role focuses on developing relationships with SaaS businesses, conducting due diligence, and leveraging T/R’s unique operational skillset to grow those businesses.
T/R has a lot of unique qualities, but ultimately it’s our culture and our people that set us apart.
Our investment and operations teams are constantly learning from each other, and that collaborative spirit extends to our portfolio companies as well.
In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar, spending time with friends, hiking, and exploring new places. I also once participated in a flash mob around Central London!
